So as a warning, if you receive a message from this 'fake Dyno' bot or anything similar, then please, DO NOT RESPOND OR ADD IT TO YOUR SERVER and do not join the server that it advertises.It has a bunch of self-assignable roles for moderation, letting you assign roles via reactions, assign multiple roles at once, or add roles to specific groups within your channel. It infuriates me to see servers that I am connected to set back and destroyed as these people simply skip all that hard work just to scum everyone else out of their server members. Personally, as a public server owner, I understand the hard work it takes to grow your server into something meaningful. The owners of the server try to hide their identity with blank nicknames and status set to invisible. The server was created only about 5 days ago and has already grown to 1100+ members. The 'new server' is called "Opidium" and claims that they aim to become the largest Discord server. ![]() It then DMs users with the false claim that the server has been raided and will be deleted, including an invite to a 'new server' as a replacement. Once you invite the bot to your server, it obtains admin privileges and bans EVERYONE from the server. (The real Dyno is Dyno#3861, this 'fake Dyno' is Dyno#6442) ![]() The bot is designed to resemble Dyno bot, but upon further investigation, you can see that it actually has a different Discord tag than the real one. >JOIN THE NEW SERVER, OLD ONE WILL NOW BE DELETED I have included a screenshot of what I and other people received for reference. Recently there has been a fake 'Dyno' bot messaging people with what resembles the following: SERVER WAS RAIDED! This is a warning to anyone who owns any Discord server and all Discord users in general. ![]()
